to serve as a hub for the acquisition of a solid and intellectually stimulating education base that will endure a lifetime.

MISSION

To help Ghana by providing a high-quality education that is both academically rigorous and imbued with admirable morals, and to do so across the board of academic disciplines.

History

The school was founded in 2004, and on October 11, 2004, it welcomed its first class of 81 students when it officially opened its doors for business.

The citizens of Barekese came up with the idea to establish the school all on their own. The community provided a building that had previously served as the Primary School for the Barekese Local School. This building contained six classrooms, and another block of classrooms served as the location for the school’s administrative setup. However, after a great deal of labour and unsuccessful efforts over a long period of time, the Nwabiagya Rural Bank, which has its headquarters in Barekese, finally consented to assist in the establishment of the school. Following a number of meetings with the Town’s Unit Committees, the bank ultimately decided to establish a school implementation committee as a result. The following year, in 2004, the Atwima District Assembly, which existed at the time, also joined the initiative and contributed some financial support to assist in the construction of essential physical structures within the school. In the end, construction of the school was finished, and it opened its doors on October 11, 2004.
